Dr. Roxanna Khorzad

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Roxanna Khorzad, DVM, DACVECC,CCRT, to the team at CTVSEH on January 15, 2018!

Dr. Roxanna Khorzad attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her undergraduate work in molecular biology. She went on to earn her DVM in 2008 graduating from Western University of Health Sciences in California.

She completed a one-year rotating internship and a three-year E/CC residency at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA. Before joining CTVSEH in 2018, she worked as a staff veterinarian at Angell since completing her residency.

Dr. Khorzad’s professional interests include trauma, sepsis, and acute kidney injury. In addition, she has a strong interest in pain management/rehabilitation and enjoys teaching and mentoring. Dr. Khorzad is certified as a canine rehabilitation therapist.

Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, horseback riding, wine tasting, and hiking with her rescue dog.
