Dr. Krystal Harris has had the privilege of working closely with a group of scientists that formed an AI company called Imprimedicine. This company is using Live Cell Data-driven Precision Medicine to help guide treatment of CANINE and FELINE  lymphoma/leukemia. They collect live cell samples from the clinic (similar to submitting a sample for Flow Cytometry). They use patient data, Flow Cytometry, PARR, and drug sensitivity analysis to predict the likelihood of success to numerous chemotherapy choices.  This reduced the amount of time needed to find a successful treatment option, streamlining therapy and saving valuable time and money on treatment.

The best part for your clients.  During data collection, which is currently underway for feline cases, they provide FLOW CYTOMETRY and PARR FREE OF COST. This means you can refer ANY feline patient with suspected lymphoma or leukemia to CTVSEH for an Oncology consult (there will be a charge for the visit) and they can get these advanced diagnostics done at no charge. Results are typically available within 7 days.

Data collection for dogs has been completed, so there is a charge for this service. Imprimed currently offers: Flow Cytometry & PARR as an individual service or combined with their drug sensitivity prediction. I find this service particularly useful for dogs that have relapsed disease and likely resistance to CHOP based chemotherapy.

Feel free to call with any possible referrals.
