CTVSEH values our promise to provide powerful medicine and exceptional care. We feel it's very important to share transparent communication concerning our emergency care department status.

As of today, both CTVSEH locations are experiencing a tremendous increase in emergency cases which has in turn left us with little to no cages nor the medical equipment necessary to help sick pets. Our full staff of doctors and technicians will continue to work around the clock helping critically ill pets, but with this increase we need your help.

Due to our current status, we are asking that you:

  • Call before sending over any Continued Care patient. Round Rock is temporarily NOT accepting "Continued Care" cases at this time. More than anything, we want to be there to help, but our resources are being streamlined for all critical pets' needs.
  • We are asking that you please communicate to clients to CALL our hospitals prior to coming in. There will be times that we will only be seeing and admitting critical life threatening cases. We do not want your clients to make a wasted trip.
  • Please provide your clients with additional resources for urgent and/or emergency care, as less critical and stable patients will experience longer wait times, with the possibility of being asked to seek additional help elsewhere.

We value your partnership and support. We will continue to be here to help sick pets. We hope you understand the need for us to temporarily limit our emergency intakes based on severity. Patient well-being and care is priority number one.

We will continue to update you on our Emergency Care Departments and thank you for all you do!

Sincerely,
Stephanie Beardsley, DVM and your pet care partners at CTVSEH
