Dr. Trutwin was born and raised in the Upstate South Carolina and attended Clemson University for her Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Science, graduating in 2017. She attended the University of Georgia and obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. While at UGA she discovered a passion for emergency medicine. Dr. Trutwin especially loves cats, and has three of her own, named Tallulah, Hazel, and Kida. Having grown up in the Upstate South Carolina, she spent a lot of time outdoors as a child and continues to enjoy the outdoors with her husband. They are both avid rock climbers, hikers, and mountain bikers, and are always on the lookout for new adventures!
