Emergency patients are seen based upon severity of injury. Life threatening cases are prioritized first, causing long wait times. Please call if your pet’s condition deteriorates while waiting and we will advise. Do not leave your designated parking space while waiting. Once your pet is examined, you will be presented with an estimate of charges and payment will be due at time of service. For your convenience and safety, payments are accepted via our website.

Dr. Krystal Harris completed her Oncology residency and Master’s degree at Oregon State University in 2014 where her research focused on Feline Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma. She has spent the last 5 years in the Pacific Northwest working at a privately owned hospital and growing her family, but is returning home to Texas for family and sunshine! Dr. Harris completed her undergraduate work at Texas A&M while working as a veterinary technician in the ICU at their small animal teaching hospital. She studied veterinary medicine on the beautiful island of Grenada, where she returned a year later for a destination wedding.

Professional interests include targeted and alternative options to traditional chemotherapy and comfort care for pets with a cancer diagnosis. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, yoga/ pilates, traveling, and spending time with her family.
