Dr. Satchell was born and raised in a small farming community in Nebraska. He received his undergraduate in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, prior to pursuing veterinary school. Dr. Satchell graduated from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and completed a rotating internship at Angell Animal Medical Center the following year. He continued to pursue additional training in Emergency and Critical Care at The Ohio State University and the University of Georgia, completing his residency in 2019.  Outside of work, Dr. Satchell enjoys traveling, hiking, photography, wine tasting, finding new restaurants, and other assorted hobbies.
