Dr. Christopher Dolan is originally from Beaumont, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences from Texas A&M University. Dr. Dolan stayed at Texas A&M University for his doctor of veterinary medicine degree. During veterinary school his primary interests were internal medicine and oncology. His interest in oncology flourished as he realized a passion for treating cancer and the strong relationships built with clients during the cancer treatment process. Dr. Dolan elected to pursue specialty certification in oncology. He completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Georgia Veterinary Specialists in Atlanta, Georgia, and then completed a one-year internship at the Flint Animal Cancer Center at Colorado State University. Dr. Dolan returned to Texas A&M University for his three-year oncology residency and achieved diplomate status for oncology in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine at the completion of his residency. Dr. Dolan is excited to be a part of CTVSEH and loves all that Austin has to offer. Outside of work, Dr. Dolan enjoys going to the gym, hiking, cooking with his wife, and baking bread.
