Dr. Amanda Brehm is originally from Kansas City, Missouri. She received her undergraduate degree from Truman State University and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri. During vet school, Dr. Brehm realized her passion for treating pets with cancer and decided to pursue specialty certification. She completed a one-year internship in medicine and surgery at IndyVet Emergency and Specialty Hospital and a one-year oncology internship at Auburn University. She then completed her residency in oncology at Texas A&M University. She is thrilled to now call Texas her home! Outside of work, Dr. Brehm enjoys hiking with her dogs, gardening, and baking cakes.
