Dr. Sarah Crawford was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She showed an early interest in veterinary medicine, following in the footsteps of her grandfather and her aunt, both veterinarians. Dr. Crawford received her undergraduate degree from the University of Dallas with a BA in Psychology. She received her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Her professional interests include internal medicine, emergency and critical care, and preventative care.

When not at the hospital she enjoys spending time with her husband, hiking, traveling, watching movies, and listening to live music. She has enjoyed playing the cello since age eight and currently plays with the Austin Civic Orchestra. She shares her home with her cat, Walter, and the backyard with her Sulcata tortoise, Sheldon, and her two Boston Terriers, Agnes and Maeve.
