Dr. Alejandra Ramirez was born in Los Angeles, CA but grew up in Cedar Park, Tx. Dr. Ramirez knew from a young age that caring for animals was her passion. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Tarleton State University and earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University. Her heart has always been in Austin so immediately upon graduation she returned to Austin and joined our team. In her free time, Dr. Ramirez enjoys the outdoors and staying active, from running to hiking to lifting to walking her dog Carmelo. Concerts are one of the many things she loves about Austin. She also loves traveling and reading.
