Originally from Ohio, Dr. Etgen earned her undergraduate degree from Miami University before attending The Ohio State University for veterinary school. Dr. Etgen has a passion for helping animals and their owners in their time of need, which has led her to the field of emergency medicine. She recently relocated to Austin to enjoy the warmer weather and vibrant culture. When she's not working, Dr. Etgen enjoys weightlifting, hiking, and competing in FEI dressage and dog agility. She shares her home with her husband, two dogs, and a cat.
