CTVSEH is NOT a partner with VetTriage. We are currently offering VetTriage as an additional recommendation for those we are not able to treat at our hospitals. We will also offer other local emergency pet clinics for options as well.

VetTriage

Below are details about VetTriage and how they can help your patients when we are not able to.

  • 24/7 video telehealth service provided by the VetTriage team of licensed veterinarians. The service aims to triage "client-perceived pet-related emergencies".
  • Instant connection, no appointments needed.
  • VetTriage services are direct transactions with the client/ patient. Services are offered at no cost to the referring facility, and on an as-needed basis. We are not associated with them and receive no money.
  • The client pays a $50 triage session fee to video chat with a DVM regardless of the length of appointment time.
  • Clients can sign on in under 60 seconds, discuss their pet with a DVM at VetTriage with a wait time of under 2 minutes generally.  They can do this while waiting in our parking lot.
  • The client, as well as the referring DVM or hospital, will receive the same e-mail summarizing the advice given.  If is determined their pet needs to be seen and they want to wait at our hospital, they can send us the summary, so we know that it is recommended their pet be seen soon.  Our normal Consult fee will be charged as we are not associated with VetTriage.  We simply offer this to help the clients instead of waiting during our extended wait times
  • All calls are held with DVMs, based in the US, and licensed.
  • VetTriage sees ALL species.
